Job Description

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Lymphatic Massage Therapists to provide post-operative care for our patients following plastic surgery. This contract position is critical to supporting our patients’ recovery and enhancing their overall experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform post-operative lymphatic drainage massage for patients recovering from plastic surgery.
• Assess individual patient needs and tailor massage techniques accordingly.
• Provide a calming and supportive environment to promote relaxation and healing.
• Educate patients on the benefits of lymphatic massage and aftercare practices.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with patients and medical staff.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State massage therapy license.
• Certification in lymphatic drainage massage preferred.
• Experience working with post-operative patients, particularly in plastic surgery settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for the full 3-week contract period starting 10/8.

Compensation: Competitive rates based on experience.

Contract Duration: 3 weeks (starting 10/8) with potential for longer-term engagement if successful.
